DAY 1:  Arrive in Stockholm | Welcome to Sweden

• -   Arrive at Stockholm Airport and complete immigration and baggage formalities.

• -   Transfer to the hotel and complete check-in.
• -   Relax after your journey and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
• -   Take a relaxed walk through nearby streets, explore waterfront views, cafés, bakeries and local squares.

DAY 2:  Stockholm City Tour | Nordic Museum | Gamla Stan

• -   Breakfast at the hotel and begin your Stockholm city exploration.
• -   See major landmarks including Stockholm City Hall, the Royal Palace area, scenic viewpoints and historic streets and squares.
• -   Visit the Nordic Museum to discover Nordic history, culture and traditions.
• -   Explore Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s historic Old Town, with colourful buildings and narrow cobblestone lanes.
• -   Walk around Stortorget Square, the Royal Palace area and historic alleys with local boutiques and restaurants.
• -   Return to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Stockholm.

 

DAY 3:  Stockholm to Helsinki | Overnight Baltic Sea Cruise

• -   Breakfast at the hotel followed by some free time in Stockholm.
• -   Proceed to the cruise terminal and board the overnight Baltic Sea cruise to Helsinki.
• -   Check in to your cabin and enjoy the ship’s restaurants, cafés, viewing decks and entertainment areas.
• -   Relax on board and enjoy Baltic Sea views and, weather permitting, sunset views from the deck.
• -   Overnight stay on the cruise.

 

DAY 4:  Arrival in Helsinki | Guided City Tour

• -   Wake up on the cruise and arrive in Helsinki.
• -   Disembark and begin a guided Helsinki city tour.
• -   Visit Senate Square and see the Helsinki Cathedral and surrounding historic buildings.
• -   Continue to Market Square near the harbour for waterfront views, local food, handicrafts and souvenirs.
• -   Visit the Rock Church (Temppeliaukio Church), carved into solid rock.
• -   Pass through Esplanadi Park and explore nearby streets or waterfront areas.
• -   Overnight stay in Helsinki.

 

DAY 5:   Train to Rovaniemi | Journey to Finnish Lapland

• -   Breakfast and transfer to Helsinki Central Station.
• -   Board the train to Rovaniemi; the journey is approximately 8–9 hours.
• -   Enjoy scenic views of Finnish forests, lakes, countryside and small towns.
• -   Arrive in Rovaniemi, near the Arctic Circle, and transfer to your accommodation.
• -   Check in and enjoy the evening at leisure. Explore the town centre, cafés or simply relax.
• -   Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

 

DAY 6:  Santa Claus Village | Husky Ride | Northern Lights Tour

• -   Visit Santa Claus Village, the official hometown of Santa Claus.
• -   Meet Santa Claus, cross the Arctic Circle and explore the village’s shops and local attractions.
• -   Enjoy a thrilling husky sledge ride through snowy Arctic landscapes.
• -   In the evening, join the Northern Lights Tour and travel away from city lights to improve the chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis.
• -   Northern Lights sightings depend on weather, cloud cover and solar activity.
• -   Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

 

DAY 7:  Free Day | Optional Arctic Experiences

• -   Enjoy a relaxed morning and keep the day flexible.
• -   Optional activities may include a snowmobile safari, reindeer sleigh ride or snowshoeing.
• -   Visit the Arktikum Science Museum to explore Arctic nature, culture and history.
• -   Optional visit to Ranua Wildlife Park to see Arctic wildlife. • Alternatively, explore Rovaniemi town centre, souvenir shops and cafés at your own pace.
• -   Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

 

DAY 8:  Departure from Rovaniemi | Farewell to Finnish Lapland

• -   Breakfast and check out from the accommodation.
• -   Proceed to Rovaniemi Airport as per your flight schedule.
• -   Board your return flight to Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaluru, as booked.
• -   Your Arctic Escape journey ends with wonderful memories of Sweden and Finnish Lapland.
